His Story

Jun was born a special boy, special in the way of the gift that was bestowed upon him. He could see and speak to the dead. However let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet, let's start from the beginning.
Born on devil's night, october 30th under a full moon at exactly 11:59pm a child was born by the name of Jeon Jeongguk in Busan, South Korea. His childhood was fine until his third birthday, it was then Jun began to see and speak to the dead. A gift his grandma would say, a curse his parents would say. On the night before his forth birthday Jun was sleeping in his room, his brother in the bed across from him. He sat straight up in bed and stared at the corner of the room, there stood a being, an entity. Whichever you prefer to call it. Unable to speak out and call for help Jun ended up pinned to his bed in fear as this being began to possess him.
When he woke everything seemed as normal, the day carried on like an normal day until he wanted ice cream. Now any child being told no would simply cry and move on but not Jun, he threw a fit until he got his way. Both his parents left the house to drive to the store for ice cream while Jun stayed home with his grandma and his older brother Jaehyun who was twelve at the time. After an hour there was still no ice cream and the tantrum got worse, Jun picked up the large family tv and threw it on the floor. No four year old could do such a thing, running to the couch he stood on it and grabbed his brother by the throat who had come running in to find out what was going on. Jun held him up off the ground by at least three inches.
A scream from the doorway had him whipping his neck around to look at the door, seeing his grandma he dropped his brother. It was then that she knew something wasn't quite right, it was then that the door was knocked on. The news was delivered to his grandma by the police that his parents had died in a car crash, hit by a drunk driver. She dropped to her knees and cried, his brother rushing to her side to help also began to cry. Not Jun though, he simply screamed bloody murder than he wanted his ice cream.
The possession began to get worse, Jun becoming deathly sick unable to even make his parents funeral. His grandma had left him in the care of a shaman, hoping they could exorcise him and drive out whatever entity had possessed him. It took two long months before Jun began to show signs of recovering, his memory of that time spotty. Unable to recall the events that had taken place, it was for the best. What four year old would want to know the terrible things he had done? That he had caused his own parents death.
Skip ahead to his fourteenth birthday, his grandma had passed two years prior so it was just himself and Jaehyun now aged twenty two. He had taken to raising his little brother for the past two years but had gotten into a habit of drinking and taking drugs. Jun's gift had labelled him an outcast and Jaehyun had very few friends himself due to his little brother being labelled a freak, of course he never once thought that about his brother. Often told him that people were scared of what they didn't understand. He had left Jun to go out and pick up some weed only he never made it home that night, when Jun woke in the morning it was to his brother standing over his bed with a solemn look on his face. Jun had lost his only living relative, he had gotten into a fight with the dealer and had hit his head. It had been an accident but the dealer had panicked and buried Jaehyun in woods all the way in Seoul.
Instead of passing over Jaehyun stayed with Jun for four more years, helping him to grow and teaching him how to care for himself. It was only on his eighteenth birthday did his brother finally leave, Jun packed up and moved to Seoul after working and saving for a few more years. He entered university to study Paranormal psychology at the age of twenty two, the same age his brother had been when he passed. Now twenty three and into his second year of university, Jun's life was hard. He still helped spirits and their loved ones, pass on messages or help find things that were missing. Something his grandma had instilled in him from a young age to do.
Despite his life being hard he tried his best to always be kind to others, no one knew what a person was dealing with after all.
He had some good friends around him, without them he wasn't even sure where he would be but he thanks whatever power brought them into his life.
Now his story continues, what awaits him no one knows. All he can do is take it one day at a time.
